So I just got my new vanity call two days ago. I applied for a bunch of calls, but the number 1 on the list was WV4AM. But they gave me the number 3 on the list, KW4JAM. That's because I applied for it while I was still a General on the FCC license. WV4AM is an Extra call, 2X2. So they assigned me the General call, KW4JAM. But the very next day, the FCC updated my license to Extra. But they still gave me the General call anyway! I'm not sure why they did this. I submitted a help request ticket to them asking for a refund or if they could change it. So my question here is should I just make another application, or do you think they would give me a refund, or would they be able to change my call systematically? Would it just be faster to start another application right now if they can't do anything about it?
