    Spring cleaning my radio shack and I have some extra vacuum tuning capacitors.
    Part number: CV05-1000UCD/5;
    Tuning range: 15 - 1000 pF;
    RF voltage: 5 kV;
    This capacitor is in good working condition and was tested with high pot test fixture;
    I would like $ 150.00 or best offer.

    I am interested in buying this capacitor for my first loop build. I am learning, with help from guys in the forums... does this have/need a bottom piece (flange) to work with a mag loop?

    I have paypal.

    The top flange has metric screw holes (M4 IIRC) and so does the bottom flange---very easy to connect once you drill holes in the ends of your loop element (flattened enough or with end plates brazed on).

    Seems to be no bottom flange on this, however?

    No, the bottom flange is there; it is flat unlike the top flange.
