My father-in-law was a Radioman second class on the USS Missouri. Jack Moulton is 87 years old and said he operated flags, lights, Morris code and teletype while active duty on the USS Missouri and other ships. He was excited to hear that the radio room is active again. You can contact him thru me at klmcgary753@gmail.com if you're interested. KJ7MED
Anyone know why KH6BB has not updated logs on QRZ since June 2021 or LOTW since September 2021? I'm waiting for a QSO confirmation.
I was on vacation to HI, and made contact with the club before we left. One of the members actually picked us (me and DW) from Aloha stadium and took us out to Ford Is. once on the ship, the radio room was easy to find, but not open for the regular tourist loop. Had a wonderful time and the club is very friendly! I posted a pic on my bio page. Advance contact ensures good results.
