The USS Midway aircraft carrier (CV-41) museum ship (NI6IW) in San Diego CA will be conducting a Special Event this Saturday 14 February 2026 commemorating the raising of the US Flag on Mt Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima on 23 February 1945. We will be operating from 1700Z to 2400Z. We will be on 14.320 Mhz and 7.250 MHz SSB, and on 14.070 Mhz for PSK31 and various HF frequencies for CW.
