I would like to record how the noise level on (say) 40m changes hour-by-hour over a period of a week. I have a RSP1. Is there some way of using available software to do that?

Alternatively, I have a IC7300. Is there any way to capture the resting noise level and log it using its USB?

I also have an analog receiver (Kenwood R1000) that I could hack into its S-meter circuit. I have a USB data logger dongle with software that could sample, average, and log the samples.

Ideally, the logged noise data should span a bandwidth of a few kHz or more?
