Hello QRZ Support/Forum Members, I'm experiencing an issue with my QRZ.com callsign page: the country flag is not displayed correctly beside my callsign and country name. I am based in Northern Ireland, but the page does not show any flag. I understand this is a common issue, especially for UK amateur radio operators from the various constituent regions. Ideally, the Union flag (British flag) should be shown when regional distinctions pose problems, as it accurately represents the UK and encompasses the flags of England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. At present, neither my region’s flag nor the Union flag is shown. Could someone please update my callsign page so the correct flag—preferably the Union flag—is visible, or advise what steps I should take to ensure the correct flag appears? My callsign is: 2i0poy. FWIW, it looks like it's only a quirk for Northern Ireland. The other DXCC entities within the UK are showing their official regional flags. I assume that this is the result of a combination of the lack of an official regional flag, the political sensitivities regarding flags to represent Northern Ireland, QRZ's strictly apolitical nature.
Hi Guys, other QRZ members from Northern Ireland such as 2I0DKQ has their callsign DX Atlas flag set to British (union flag).
there is an offical flag for Northern Ireland - the union flag , as neither the Ulster Banner or St Patricks Saltaire alone are recognisied as official an the Ulster banner is the one which is sensitive from a Sectarian point of view
