U.S. Call Signs Vs Addresses

    KD4ZD writes "I've worked several U.S. Calls recently that are not listed at all with QRZ.com. Why??? One of them in particular I've worked twice in the last six months.


    Also, several stations that say for example; I moved to NC four years ago from FL. But in QRZ.com they are still listed at the FL address.


    This makes it tough when you are trying to send a QSL card. Every single one I'm finding discrepancies with have a "Vanity Call".


    What's going on? With all the agencies using computerized databases including the FCC. Are Hams now days not taught to update their info with the FCC when they move? Does the FCC check? I doubt it.

    Editor's Note: The QRZ.com databases are current with the FCC database. The QRZ.com database can not be accurate if a licensee does not keep his information current with the FCC.</A>
