I don't know how many times I have to go find my phone to enter a TFA code after selecting 'allow for 30 days' well below 30 days. I haven't counted the days but it ain't 30. What the heck?

It's pretty much either cookies or IP addresses. Does your browser clear cookies on exit? Once a week? Three times a month?

Does your ISP reassign your IP address every session? Every few sessions? once a week?

It's either one or the other.... that's what triggers the request to "Authenticate" - something has changed in either your cookies or your IP

Does a IP address change really mater ?

Seems that would make most cell phones not usable.

Just for test my IP is XXX.XXX.99.199

Now I just changed it to XXX.XXX.99.216

Did my post work using 2 different IP address in the same post ?

I think maybe it did work.

I'll see what happens, changed a setting in Chrome, and did an OS update. Thanks for the tip.

Its actually subliminal cardiovascular exercise cleverly disguised as security authentication. TSA uses it too when they make you take off your shoes.
