Eric, Would you like to set s sked on 80? Maybe I could give you a listen, after all, opinions are still free...
Would that be a mile a meter between us? Love to Gary, but this antenna won't tune lower than 40 meters. I'm seriously considering a small sdr receiver I could use as a station monitor. If/when the loop goes up that will change things immensely. I was just curious if Steve had an opinion. It's probably a safe bet all is reasonably fine because had it been really bad he might have said something or remembered it. I'm leaning towards unremembered = unremarkable.
Dave's QSL showed yesterday, but I didn't check the mailbox until this morning. I guessed I'd get a rather interesting QSL and I wasn't disappointed. Thanks, Dave!
Dave does QSL cards about the same as I used to (I don't use paper anymore). Full picture on the front, sticky label for details on an otherwise blank back. Only main difference is, I write my text and/or signature across the label to the card. Since they're not sticky forever, it gives a matching line-up if it ever peels off. Later, I just bought a "CONFIRMED" rubber ink-stamp with a place for my initials.
