It's less than a month away from Thanksgiving and time for our traditional Turkey Day Net (TDN).
The (TDN) has always been a chance for hams to make contacts with the folks that post on QRZ
and anyone else who wants to chime in. The net is on Thanksgiving day and usually begins around 1600 UTC or 12:00 pm EST. 2020 has been a year like no other so come join the net like no other. Please note the frequencies listed below are only suggestions and serve as places to start looking for the net. It's usually best to follow the thread for actual locations.

Will someone re-post this in more popular forums and make it a "sticky?"

This year, with people celebrating Thanksgiving more "at home with fewer visitors" than ever, this year should be a good one for such a net.

Moved to "Ham Radio Discussions" and made a "Sticky" (only until it's over - it will be "un-stickied" after the event).

DANG it sucks I can't do it this year :(:(:(

But I'm glad all the other regulars will be there and have a blast!!

I SO appreciate that Tom :)

But I'm OK - I don't have anywhere to really operate actually - nothing even close to the "antenna farm"

Will be fine here - I'll just listen in on an online SDR

    You're so kind,

    That's too bad, Dave.

Even a 100' run of RG-213 to the base of the tower to get you back on 20-10m wouldn't have such excessive loss as to keep you off the air. Another '7300 and a switch mode supply and the UUU is back up and going!

As for TDN, I plan to be there, later I suspect, as our church will have separate services at each parish and ours won't start until 1615z. Then there will be something to eat at noon and then time to play radio!

I'll make every effort to be there, sometimes.

I'm also chief chef for T'giving and we will have some family visitors. But I'll try to be on around 11:00 EST (8:00 PST) and then now and then when I can, on 20 meters; maybe much later on 40 meters.
