Tube spec questions

    I am looking into building my own HF amp Nothing fancy 600 to 800 watts out
    being driven by a kenwoodTS-440S 100w out im only wanting to use it on 80-10 M SSB
    Im thinking on using a pair of 572b tubes Grounded grid design

    Here's My Issue
    on the spec's im looking for the drive power (I.E. the output power of my Radio)
    That the tube will Accept so what tells me the input(drive) power and the RF output on transmit

    Figure about 65 watts input for about 700 watts PEP out for a pair of 572B tubes.

    The old Cetron sheet you show doesn't list typical operation parameters.

    Here's one that does:

    It says typical operation is "driving power 50 Watts," which is a per-tube rating for a GG linear amplifier and is about right.

    For simplicity it is difficult to beat the Dentron design for the DTR-1200L
