Hello! Brand new General licensed HAM and I am being gifted a Kenwood TS-820. I'm told it is in need of a power supply. What would a good replacement be to get the rig up and running? Excited to get started in the hobby. Thanks, in advance for the help

The power supply is built into the TS-820. There is an optional DC to DC converter that allows the rig to run off 13.8 volts DC but the rig itself plugs right into the wall.

It might need the AC power cord or it might have a bad power supply inside that needs repair but the TS-820 does not utilize an external power supply like a lot of vintage Drake, Collins, Heathkit and other older rigs.

If it is just a missing AC supply line cable you can purchase them here: https://www.k4eaa.com/parts.htm
