    I started my career in broadcasting so this was really interesting. We are truly standing on the shoulders of giants.

    if your looking for more self-taught engineers there is Ed ‘Mad Man’ Muntz and his TV and radio manufacturing business, his Car business, and the practice of “Muntzing”. Fascinating stuff, colorful character.
