Thank you Dave for this remarkable tribute to a 'particular YL (who) proved to be an influential "radio woman" herself!'
    Bravo!

    Hey Dave,
I credit Armstong for the popularization of the concept of high fidelity. He used that concept to promote FM when RCA claimed the public was content with the fidelity of AM. The story is told in a great book "Man of Hi Fidelity". Read it if you can get your hands on a copy. You'll love it! 73, Walt W0CP

Hi Walt, I tried to buy that book a couple of times from eBay but they only had a paperback for like $75. Then, I found the entire book was available on the Internet in a PDF format, thanks to some kind soul at MIT. I read it that way . . . good book for sure, and you and I both know how important "high fidelity" is to the world. (PS to readers, Walt and I were both from the Hi-Fi business. Walt is a famous guy in those circles.) Dave, W7DGJ

A comment late is better than no comment, I hope. Great Story! Thanks for telling it. 53 years for justice....WOW!

Hi Patti, on some stories, we're still having discussions that are now a year or more old. It's fine! And I'm happy you liked it. Thanks, Dave Jensen W7DGJ
