So I have an issue with contesting. Mainly because of transverter I am using on 2m. All frequencies are wrong and I am a bit afraid to touch ADIF file to not get it even worse. Not sure how to edit it, tried once and TQSL start screaming Could someone tell me where to make a changes please? <call:5>G4PDF <gridsquare:6>IO91DP <mode:3>FT8 <rst_sent:2>53 <rst_rcvd:2>52 <qso_date:8>20200331 <time_on:6>190800 <qso_date_off:8>20200331 <time_off:6>190915 <band:3>10m <freq:9>28.175194 <station_callsign:6>2E0FHM <my_gridsquare:6>IO92WS <comment:23>FT8 Sent: 53 Rcvd: 52 <operator:6>2E0FHM <stx:4>0001 <srx:4>0007 <eor> I have highlighted parts where I could, but band and number e.g. <band:3> have any impact too? Well... If it was me, first I'd make a copy of the first ADIF file. Then, using notepad, I'd do a simple find/replace, first on the band and then on the frequency. Band first change 10m to 2m. Then just change the 28 in each frequency to 144. Never tried it, but it should work. I think that the key would be in using notepad or the newer version wordpad. Neither of these leaves any artifacts behind in the text files. Full spectrum word processing programs leave a lot of unnecessary data in the file and that might be what is making the tqsl program error out. Just a thought...
I have found ADIF Master to be very useful for editing. It's free download at: http://www.dxshell.com/software.html 73, Tony W2ASC
In <band:3>, the 3 is the length of the data which is 10m. If you want to change the band to 2m, then you can use notepad replace (under edit) and change <band:3>10m to <band:2>2m The same applies with the freq tag. If you wanted to change <freq:9>28.175194 to a 2m freq, you could use <freq:10>144.175194
