Students of American History know what this is (or was). S/E station K4T is commemorating the event and easy to work. Good CW op, worked with one call a couple days ago and I didn't know who or what that was. Now I know. They send a certificate to everybody, evidently!
The five tribes ended up just south of me in what was called, Indian Territory at that time. Actually the Cherokee strip is 3 mi south of my house and had almost 6 million Acres. The Native American Nations, sometimes referred the area as just, The Nations. As more tribes came, there were and still are many distinct Sovereign Tribal Nations. There are 39 tribal nations in the borders of the state of Oklahoma. Most of them now even having their own license tags for their vehicles, for each Nation.
