I really do not like buttons.

Especially the ones that do one thing when pushed, another when pressed, and yet a third when held. Especially when holding erases what you programmed to perform when pushed.

This is probably true across the board for a good majority of the population. I've noticed that car radios that used to have "Up" and "Down" buttons for volume and tuning have now gone back to knobs and rotary encoders.

Now if there was just something worth listening to--- I never turn mine on.

    Nice Knobs

I remember seeing an ad for a spinner knob for the 897 that replaced the original main knob (little dimple) and looked like OEM but I can't seem to find the link.

I've purchased this guys products before and was not expecting much in return (cheap). Was I surprised. Very good quality for only a little cash.

Thanks , That one is for the 857. I don't know if they used the same knob or not.....

A simple and easy phone call would answer that question.

I don't have radios with touch pads, but a sea of buttons and knobs is looking at me right now, not to mention hidden menus lurking in the new stuff.
