I am trying to get my TM-D700a setup and working as a fixed digipeater from my QTH. One reason is my VX-8r isn't making it out to the igate so I wanted to help it out.

I've done extensive research on the topic and have found many different pieces of data related to it, but no definite source on how to properly setup the D700 as a fixed digi. Can someone help with the menu settings (and TNC commands if applicable, as I have seen UIFLOOD and UITRACE mentioned)? Thanks in advance.

    Scott -

I assume that you have exhausted (previous read / reviewed) Bob Bruninga's postings on APRS Digipeating ?

I've been over all of those, and can't seem to find an agreement between them all. Also most of those have the settings recommended for a mobile digi setup. I am going to be using this fixed in my QTH. I really just looking for a concise Menu 1 =, menu 2 =, etc etc for the D700. I have a good idea on what the settings should be, but having someone post their configuration for it would be helpful for comparison purposes.

Well someone has to beta test the suggested configurations .. sounds like you are the right person -
then you can post the answer (on your web blog or YouTube) for others to learn from.
