I got a TM-D700 and I am trying to program it. I have been successful doing the programming, but I'm finding that the programming is being mirrored. Band A and Band B show the same stuff. Once Ch 'x' is programmed on Band A, Ch 'x' is unavailable on Band B, no matter if it is 2m or 70cm. I thought Band A was the 2m side and Band B was the 70cm side. Is this normal operation or have I got a setup option not set correctly?

It is normal. Either frequency band can be used from either side of the radio. There is a single bank of memories that is used by both sides.

Thanks. That's unfortunate. I haven't tried this, but, does this also apply to the PM function too?

hmm, I would have to pull the 700 out and dust it off to be sure, but IIRC, the memories are independent of the PM. The PM is a lot more about the other radio settings, mainly APRS.

Yep, found that out last night. Radio programmed, installed, and tested. Thanks for the help NE3R.
