The Amateur Radio News section has special submission requirements. Please read below and contact editor@qrz.com if you have any questions.

Thread Submission Guidelines for Amateur Radio News
    1. All articles must be free from copyright restrictions. You may not cut-and-paste an article from another website or source unless you have the express written permission of the owner of the original content.
    2. News articles must include a lead-in summary of the content to follow. This is true for all types of posts and announcements, videos, podcasts, etc.. The lead-in should be short, concise, and must clearly describe the content of the video or other off-site content. Most lead-in narratives will consist of a single sentence.
    3. One-liners, including links to other websites, will not be accepted into this section unless an ample description (see #2 above) and lead-in photo is included.
    4. Every article must include a photo. We will typically use the first photo found in the article for our lead-in. If the subject is esoteric, such as an FCC action, then a copy of the FCC logo would be acceptable photo, however in all other cases we would ask that you avoid the use of text in the photo. This is also true for video submissions as well as Podcasts.
    5. Videos posted should include a separate photo as the video itself cannot be used as a lead-in picture. Lead-in photos should be in JPG format and sized to less than 640 pixels wide. The QRZ editors may, at their discretion, place or substitute a stock image for your thread lead-in if deemed appropriate.
    6. Your article may be moved to another QRZ Forum location at the editor's discretion. For example, a For Sale ad posted to News will be moved to the For Sale forum. We will attempt to notify you of a forum move if needed.
    7. We reserve the right to use a photo of our choosing to represent the article on our homepage if the provided media does not meet our standards.
