This was my grandfather. I'm trying to figure out what his callsign was. He was on the air in the late 1970s and 1980s in Alexandria, Louisiana. The family doesn't know what his call was, and he's not in the callbooks that are on archive.org and the other prominent databases maintained by hams. I still have his Vibroplex Bug and his WWII-era J-38 straight key. Sure would be nice to have a record of his call.

If you ever worked him, or if you know any hams from that area who might have known him, I'd owe you big time.

Apologies to the mods if this is in the wrong forum.

Send a note to Pete, NL7XM. He is a callbook expert.
