Have not posted updated shack image for awhile. The FT991A has moved to a new home & been replaced with a FTDX-5000MP. IF out supplies signal to DX Patrol mk4 SDR/HDSDR for panadapter & cat control. TX ground controls third receiver, an IC-R8600. SP 2000 speaker has audio out going to Heil PRAS EQ running a Heil HPS-5 powered speaker. Elecraft KPA500 amplifier & KAT500 tuner have KV5J digital displays. A FTM-400XD is used for VHF/UHF & also runs the Wires-X node. Keys are Vibroplex Vibrokeyer & J-38 straight key.
Latest project, a go box, is on the left with a FT-450D & FTM-7250D.

Here's the shack. In the room formerly occupied by the hot water tank. This provided a nice 240V feed for the amp.

All the more reason to do it. :D

And then you buy that cable and you have two, one a matching one, and keep the original connectors and you can swap back if needed.

It's a sad statement for my obsession with this hobby, that I can instantly name each rig I see in the pics and talk about its features and capabilities, pros and cons. I haven't owned but a few, yet have invested hours and hours reading brochures, reviews, specs. etc.
