Been browsing this thread. Many very nicely arranged shacks.
Glad to see people still enjoying amateur radio!

I'm still a noob, but here's how my ham shack is coming together so far. :)

Love the use of the large monitors! Got to be way better than staring at the postage stamp of a screen on the radio.

Sometimes, it’s nice to set up different gear on a small table, sit behind a comfortable chair, and make QSOs…

I've mentioned before, I filled the shack with gear to the point I can't even git in there to operate, so I set up on a table on the porch. Sometimes it's really old gear, like this TS-900/PS900 set. I have the VFO-900, but cannot locate the cable :( it appears to be unobtainium.

And other times some slightly newer gear like this TS-811A/ TS-711A/ TS690SAT stack.

I do like my Kenwoods. Even my callsign says KNWD.

You or someone can't MAKE a cable for the TS-900 to VFO-900? Heck, if needed I'd think even connectors could be changed if the required ones for the cable are not available.

In an attempt to keep the set all original I've search for well over a year for an original cable, or the ends to make one. I'm giving up and will do just as you suggested, and change to terminals to something easily obtained.

I expect an original cable to appear a few minutes after the conversion is complete.
