Probably a bit of debt involved with some of these shacks, which is ok as long as it doesn't detract from the truly important things.
Okay, here's MY ham shack. It's a work in progress. You might say, its a KIT. Tri-X LM354HD power crank up tower 60' aluminum mast. Maker unknown, but I suspect it's a Brazilian company call Ica Sol... But I can't prove that... A Cushcraft R-6000 multi band antenna. Later I plan to add an 80 meter 1/2 wave wire dipole. The Wench for the LM-534HD crank up tower and a HAM IV rotor. Misc wiring, the control panel and motor for the Tower wench Here's where the fun end of it will be, including my spankin' new Icom IC-718 and multiple PCs What's a ham shack without a collection of antique crap on shelves that is never used?
The size of the beam, and the size of the garden (in the snow pictures) don't seem to add up. That would overhang the boundaries on all sides. Must have some very accommodating neighbours.
I spent a couple of hours rearranging things last night. I haven't tied up all the cables yet because I don't think I really like this layout that much, so I might do it all over again tonight. For some reason I feel like the Amp and tuner need to be on the right side... I also may ditch the third monitor altogether.. I dunno.. #firstworldproblems (BTW: The floofer stays right where she is. That's her spot. )
Serious? someone would go in debt for ham radio. A 75k$ bass boat I can see but not ham. (I don't fish)
Insert following quotes: "Ground control to Major Tom" "Reactors 1 and 2 are fully operational" "Flight 1524 readjust to a vector of 187" Seriously though love the "control" station look of your shack, reminds me of something you would see something like NASA, Flight Control, 911 Dispatch, Security or even a nuclear facility using for their operations. All the other shacks are awesome too.
Some recent photos from the current QTH in Cedar Key, FL, plus a couple of old ones. Second Op Lily at the main operating station. My KX2 spends most of its time next to my reading chair.
