I wan't one.
It's doubtful that Icom has "swift boated" Elecraft.
I want the IC-705. I like IC-7300 very much. Looking forward to using it QRP, or with my 12v linear. Can't wait!
I'll see your 12v linear and raise you a 1200v one
It's absolutely a good looking radio. No doubt that SOTA and POTA have a lot of attention right now and the KX2 and KX3 are extremely popular. I think this radio will sell very well for Icom. I agree with WIK, Yaesu may be in trouble if Icom is price competitive. I was disappointed with the FT-818 not being a bigger upgrade from the 817.
Darn those zombies....they won't leave poor old NNF alone (death where is thy sting?)…
I see Universal Radio has added information as of 07/18/2020.
List Price: $1433.00
Your Price: T.B.A.
I wish the FCC would get off their can and do the paperwork on this radio. It would be perfect for portable or small space operation. The only issue is not having an optional power module. Having to add three separate amplifiers is kind of an expensive pain. Still, it is a very nice little rig, it will be interesting to see the independent test data on it. I am also will to bet that the price will come down about three hundred dollars by this time next year.
