Yes, the propagation sucks but RBN shows my 5W QRP signal all over the US but nobody is
    answering.
However when I reply to CQ I make a contact. So my signal must be going through.
Is it really the propagation or nobody bother to switch their radios on? And if the propagation
is the only problem why is it that when there is a contest suddenly you can't find a frequency
that is not used? I do mostly CW but also SSB.
73 to all and hope to catch you on the bands.

can be a minimum of Maunder (1640-1715) ?
what would be more serious is a drop in temperatures.
    this would pose serious problems.
we will do QSOs on the Relays.

I see the same kind of thing. I think that many hamateurs aren't bothering to turn on their radios because they hear that the radio wave propagation is poor.

I have a 2el yagi at 75 feet, and was listening to the EU on 20mCW, tonight. Made about 8 EU SSB contacts, and 3 US East Coast SSB contacts, from here in Seoul. (currently HL1ZIX)

Even with 0 sunspots, and overall low numbers, greyline still works on 20m.

My theory is that everyone is playing on FT8, despite SSB working.

Sorry Bonnie I did not check the dates. Perhaps they read the HF Oracles' prescient prognostication first then published their findings. Hi!
