The DXpedition 5A7A to Libya

After some years of silence, an international team will stage a big DXpedition to Libya November 15 – 29. Libya is one of the most wanted entities for the DXCC Award.

Experienced DXers from Germany, the USA, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Japan and one ham operator from Libya will be making the news worldwide.

The goal of the DXpedition: to activate a rare entity on all amateur bands and in all modes, including digital modes; to set the focus on long distance DX and low bands like 80 and 160 meters; to activate the new prefix 5A7; to support the development of ham radio in Libya.

The DXpedition will operate 8 stations from 3 sites with ACOM 1000 ampliers made in Bulgaria and a good bunch of efficient antennas.
