    It's a tie:

Plush Pup -- North Cumberland Avenue, Chicago

Billy Goat's -- North Michigan Avenue, Chicago

It's not only the coffee, ordinary restaurant grade, but the service that goes along with. Real, unscripted, unprompted.

I have had lots of good coffee all over the world. But as of late I have been enjoying Lookout coffee. It has become my Sunday morning cup.

    WILDFIRE-Heritage Blend

    THE BLEND PHILOSOPHY

What do we mean by calling this "Heritage" Blend? This is a coffee that my grandfather would have called coffee. We've roasted this darker than our other offerings, and it takes on the flavors and characteristics of classic coffee. This is sweet, familiar, and should help you get those warm fuzzy feelings!

    THE SPECIFICS

    85% Washed Honduras Proyecto Cabanas

    15% Natural Ethiopia Guji Highlands

    • Tasting Notes– Caramel, Chocolate, Dark Fruits
    • Importer – Bend Coffee
    • Regions – Guatemala & Ethiopia
    • Processing – Washed & Natural
    • Varietal – Various
    • Elevation – 1500-2100m
    • Roast – Medium/Dark

    Great question!

To me, the cup is less important than the coffee. And the better the brew, the larger the delta!

IMHO, in the short run, supply problems and an increase in transportation costs, both due to the virus. In the long term, supply problems due to climate change; just like real chocolate when Cocoa (aka cacao) can't grow much any longer in the open. Chocolate has a "fix" that's a fully artificial replacement, though many folks don't like it. Coffee, well....

Just the fact that any addicting drug that you need to make living good brings a high price.

The American way. Added Fees may apply... Some settling may occur during shipping.

I don't make it down to San Antonio very often (usually just passing through on my way to the Rio Grande Valley so I hop on 410 to IH-37). I will add this to my list though on a future trip. An old friend of mine moved down there and bought a house so I have an excuse to go one weekend. Thanks for the recommendation!
