Just a few words to remember a old friend..terry parker..terry started life with learning disability but he never let it hold him back.We had been friends from the old c.b. days..and when the guys we ran with all went to become hams. Terry wanted to be one too..My wonderfull wife kc5clq was his first elmar..He would work on the computer while she cooked dinner than they would study in a gordon west book i had. Those were really good times. After he got his ticket he was wonderfull on the radio..He would call his mother everyday on the austin phone patch...lol..I missed him at belton and on the 146.94 austin machine..It hurt me to hear he passed on the first of the year.I wish to thank all the hams that made him have such a wonderfull if short life..thanks again.terry made all our lives a lot richer..bill..kb5ykl
