Terrence “Terry” Maskell, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away at his residence on May 8, 2017. Born in Terre Haute on September 14, 1945 Terry was the son of the late Russell G. and Lucille (Pease) Maskell; both of his parents preceded him in death.
As a self-employed general contractor for many years, Terry enjoyed his hard work and providing for his family as the owner and operator of Maskell Construction Company. He also enjoyed operating hand radios, working on computers, spending time at the beach, model ships and lighthouse figures and during the 1980’s and 90’s, he especially enjoyed restoring vintage cars. A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Terry’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving family.
Survivors include his two children, Shane (Michele) Maskell of Camby, and Michelle “Shelley” D. Holland of Mooresville; four grandchildren, Tara and Sarah Holland, and Emma and Ian Maskell; and one sister, Lucy (Jim) Berger of Greenville, South Carolina.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Terry Maskell from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 in the chapel at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Thank You Lee (K2HAT) so much for posting this. In the obituary it does not say, but Terry Maskell was also a Morgan County, (IN) Deputy Sheriff back in the mid-70's.
He was a fine officer and a good man and a credit to the Ham radio hobby.
