Looking for a four pin tentec hand mic for my corsair. The desk mic I have is great but has no ptt. Vox is tough with 2 kids and several dogs. Does anyone else know of a good hand mic that will work?

There is a push to talk jack on the back of radio. I believe it is an RCA jack if I remember mine correctly. Make a simple push to talk switch to use with your desk mic.

    ^^This.

Or, use a footswitch, which is even nicer.

Here's a brand new one for $27, but there's other stuff around that can be used as well: http://www.heilsound.com/amateur/products/accessories/fs-3-footswitch

MFJ has hand mics with TT wiring. Seem to have good reviews on e-ham and the price is not bad. I have used some of T-T's 700 series with not good results.

A 708 desk mic is a nice way to go. Get a new one if they are still available.
