    The Omni VI uses a standard coin sized 3V lithium battery. The battery is held in a clip style holder on the logic board and can be replaced without tools except of course a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the rig's top cover. I can't remember off hand the specific coin cell Ten Tec used in the Omni VI but it's a standard battery like a 2025, 2032 or similar available at pretty much any hardware store, supermarket or big box store.

    It's a battery type CR-2032 on the Logic Board.

    See view below, the battery is in the upper left-hand corner.

    Is there only one internal coin sized 3V lithium battery ??

    Yes, there's only one coin sized battery inside the Omni VI and it sits on the Control Board as shown in Steve's photo above.

    Unless you're asking if there's only one size of 3V lithium coin battery manufactured in which case no, but the correct battery is the CR 2032 as posted above and they're easy to find in local stores.

    Yes, just one, you can't miss it.

    I had an OMNI-VI many years ago...great rig! Use it in good health.
