For those that are interested, I just received an email that they are back in stock, but only matched doubles, triples and quads. No singles. https://www.rfparts.com/tubes/tubes-572b.html
My 572B's are original. Installed 1969. Still put out full power. Even use the amp a lot on AM. I must be living good.
When I bought my SB200 it had a pair of Cetron's, but they were a little down on power. I have no way of knowing if they were the original tubes, but I suspect they were. I replaced them with some Taylor's I bought 5 years ago. I've been happy with them.
Yes...but... Nearly 100 bucks each. I'm very skeptical of what "matched" means in the context of Chinese tube vendors (if you actually need a matched set of tubes anyway). If you are thinking or replacing 811s with 572s, at this juncture, it's a lot more practical just to replace an 811 when one fails (about 35 bucks)...
I thought about replacing my 811s with 572s...but...the 811s are behaving just fine. My inclination would be to use the money they would cost these days toward an amp that a level or two up and doesn't use 811s.
