NinoTNC A3 board. Coming late April. Pre-orders starting early April on ETSY. If search on ETSY for "TARPN" doesn't work, then it isn't up yet.
See our news and info page discussed just above. Hopefully, we got it right this time.
The last board suffered from a rare and expensive part (FTDI module) whose supply dried up before we'd sold the first 200 boards. The plan is that the A3 will be bottomless quantities.
Keep in mind that this is a hobby for us and none of the hams or ham clubs are getting a profit. Kudos to the volunteers!

yes and no. We've shipped 200 of the A2 model. There are 10 A3 boards, 4 assembled, which we're testing and about to approve for production.
We're working on assembly instructions for the A3. Under construction here: http://tarpn.net/t/nino-tnc/n9600a/n9600a3/n9600a3-assembly.html
We're taking pre-orders for the A3 on our ETSY.com page. See our info pages here: http://tarpn.net/d

200 of the A3 PCBs were just ordered from Seed Studio. $2.50 each. There will be a minor delay as one of the boards is built and tested. This step is necessary since there were some minor changes (1 resistor, moved where the TXA and RXA scope loops are connected) to the layout. There's almost no knowing how long it will take to get the boards this time, but previous deliveries were as short as 20 days. The last order was made January 27th and got to the USA March 5th. That period of time includes some interesting things going on in Wuhan!

The CPUs will come pre-programmed at about $3 each. They were much quicker than the PCBs, even with the programming step.

Does anyone know if there is an updated version of Kantronics "HostMaster" that isn't on 3.5" floppies? Also, I have the floppies, but is there an easy way to try them on a USB port only win7, or win10 laptop?

Thanks..and yes, I have googled without any luck. Someone just has to have done this...….

Not being a smart aleck, but have you considered a USB floppy drive?

There’s an article on google about a cat who made text based RPG games available via packet. I thought that was so damn cool.

If you find one, or create one, let me know. HostMaster was my favorite packet terminal program. A good current alternative is Outpost PMM. It's free and does amazing things. A little different that HostMaster but it's very impressive. Has lots of automated features that you choose to use or not use, plus a dumb terminal.
