Is a T50-2 toroid big enough 9/1 for Qrp 5 Watts SSB ?
Have them in junk box use them or order larger ones ?How about stacking 2 of them ?
    Thanks Ray

Ray - the T50-2 is iron powder.

You'd normally use a ferrite material for a 9:1 balun.

But the T50-2 would be OK if using it as an inductor for an L-match.

Or a parallel coupling circuit as described by AA5TB at http://www.aa5tb.com/efha.html
