The Solar Cycle 25 is an eye opener. I just accompained these cycle from the background. The shortwave isnt the major point in my activities in this hobby. But I saw how uncalculatable those nature happenings can be. In the start everybody was convinced with the opinion that these cycle will dont have much strength. The truth became different. It wasnt the strength on a long range, it was the strength in big short events. To often many Aurora occured down to Italy without a pre-warning and a Carrington event became true after many years again. Here just for to see that Carrington is a myth from the past. Todays technology can stand this without problems. And after that years of myth busting, some operators should change their storys and stop spinning their sailor's yarn about different things in solar activity or how good they are in their own knowings. Further solar physicists have more questions to answer than many thought about. The "motor" of the Sun got starting problems, stalled often and tried more than once a new start. Like a car which got problems with the electric. But when the motor runs, there was sometimes no stop and its got heavy. Nobody knows why, because nobody knows how the Sun is really working. And HAM-radio is here out for to answer anything about that. The hobby got other problems to solve. Please keep going on with the SWR Magazine. Its the next great paper about actual HAM-radio and what operators really want to know.
The link goes to the correct URL but it shows it is “parked by Go Daddy”. I emailed NP4ET to let him know. Bill
From a fast scan, it looks high quality with lots of interesting content. I signed up. My Bitdender sends me a warning, which I ignored, related to the pop-up at the opening:"The page https://swrmagazine.org/markup/ad has been detected with suspicious activity. It is not recommended to continue browsing this website." But I ignored and Mag looked very good with good content.
