For quite a while I have been using my USB connected SWR/PWR meter (http://www.foxdelta.com/products/swm3-0915.htm) with no issues.
    ...And SWMx software: http://www.i2tzk.com/projects/9-dual-channel-swr-meter

I recently upgraded from Win7 to Win10 and most things work, but not the meter/software.

    Symptoms:
On connecting the USB, the display lights then quickly goes blank (off).
With USB still connected - If I launch the software (SWMx) I receive the errors: "Arithmetic operation resulted in a overflow" , Module: SerialHID" and then a notification the SWM3 cannot be found. If I clear those errors and proceed the display lights / stays on and the (as stand alone) meter works, but the software graphic for the SWR/PWR appears on screen but does not work.

Have any idea why this is happening??

    Thanks,
    Woody - KZ4AK

Try running the software in compatibility mode.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it. Still got the same errors and scratching my head. Posed the question to FoxDelta, but no answers yet.

I am not familiar with the unit. Is it being powered thru the usb?

Disconnect usb, and measure ground on unit to ground on usb source for voltage with a dmm.

While connected, what is 5 vdc usb reading at the unit?
