I'm glad this forum was created. I've always preferred VHF and UHF to HF, and now I don't feel like I'm the only one.

This is awesome, I haven't done much outside of FM on 2 meters but considering doing more since my FT-857D is all mode on 6 and 2 meters and thinking about getting an FT-817 and may build a 2m or 6m yagi and play QRP on VHF (ha!).

Gee, now I am a little confused. I resurrected my 2 meter SSB activity about 2 years ago. The activity was so low, last fall I took down the beam, flipped it vertical for repeater work.

Now if this forum gets people on 2 SSB, I'll have to flip it again.

    Running 200 watts into a 9 element M2 beam at 1200' ASL.
