Hopefully, but its common knowledge in places called Not America that a lot of Americans are not well educated in world affairs. MERICA!

This thread sent me to Wikipedia to find out who TH Chloe O'Brien was or is. It is not unusual for people to refer to characters I don't know from a TV series I have not seen, as I haven't seen many outside my particularly geeky ones, but in this case I had not even heard of the series itself.

And no, no worries working Cuba. ;)

It might be Ed McMahon and your PCH check.

@KO4HFX congradulations on working your first Cuban station. Have a cigar!;)

It's challenging to get a Cuban contact to confirm on QRZ.

BTW, activate your logbook on QRZ and add a bio while you are at it.

Old ham saying: "Work first, worry later!". Used to refer mostly to the other stations legality (ham radio wise) and wether they would be good for a country counter for DX Century Club. (DXCC).

In your case, you're following the old maxim, but worrying about the wrong thing. Some countries used to and may still restrict their hams from contacting other specific countries. Russia and Israel come to mind. Mostly that's a thing of the bad old past...

So carry on with the DX, and don't worry about the white (not black) vans!
