    53, of Loma Rica, passed away on June 24, 2013. Stuart was born on January 23, 1960, in Chico, California. After attending elementary and middle schools in Gridley, Stuart graduated from Biggs High School in 1978. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1983 and his Master of Science degree in the same field from Stanford the following year.

    After graduation, Stuart remained in Silicon Valley. He was most recently employed at Cisco Systems, Inc. which released this statement at his passing:

    "Stuart was a tenure employee with Cisco Systems with over 20 years of service. He was a technological genius who helped to develop Cisco's first company website and world renowned CCIE certification program. Most recently, Stuart was awarded a US Patent for the development of a computer network application. He will be truly missed by his Cisco Family."

    Stuart loved to travel and spent a lot of time in England and Europe for both business and pleasure. He also traveled to many countries in Asia and North Africa, and was never afraid to try the local cuisine. He was also an avid amateur radio operator, receiving his license while still in middle school.

    Stuart is survived by his wife, Kim, of Loma Rica; step-father, Gene Harris, of Chico; sister, Cheryl Ballantyne (John), of Biggs; brother, Steve Biggs (Julie), of Gridley; step- daughter, Jennifer Dial, of Northridge; and two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Edward Biggs and Betty Pippitt Harris.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Stuart's favorite charity, the ASPCA, or to The Rideout Foundation.

    Services will be held at 11am, Monday, July 8th at Gridley-Biggs Cemetery.
