    #2 was my favorite.

Your Camelback is nice. Do you figure that's about 1860-1880ish?

Does any one key have a heavier base than the other ?

The bases are Oak or Goncalvo Alvis wood and Maple wood and are about the same weight. I am not sure how heavy a base you need. I have a lead base and even though it is more oz. in weight it would not make a key any more stable then the wood. Rubber feet or felt pads do a good job to help stabilize a key. I could make the wood bases heaver by adding some lead into the base although I don't think it would make any deference. Thank you for asking.
The camel back is a Austrian Post Office key circa mid 1800's so yes 1860's but much earlier then 1880.
