Teaching staff and students considerably benefit from visiting enthusiasts giving time to education. This assists young people towards future STEM careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. www.stemnet.org.uk
So far I've promoted interactive pinhole viewers from shoeboxes, spin-art from a junk motor and paint, knots as early technology, soldering and more...but no radio, not yet. Mixed age groups from 8-15 years.
Regrettably, "Craft" was deleted at a National level from our National Curriculum subject of Craft, Design and Technology CD&T leaving just Design and Technology D&T
Covid brings both adjustment and innovation. I'm Dave and I'm offering remote practical support by e-guidance, e-sourcing and e-plans.
Have you ever volunteered in schools or public libraries?
    Where else are you looking?
    Let's trade ideas.
    Comments invited!
Remember, you don't have to be qualified, just keen!
