    Special event station W5NC will be operating Saturday, October 18, 2003, to commemorate the 11th annual SIRE Ride-A-Thon, a horse and rider trail ride at 7IL Ranch in Cat Spring, Texas.  Proceeds from this event will be used by SIRE, Houston's Theraputic Equestrian Center, to provide services to chrildren and adults with disabilities.  A beautiful 8X11 color certificate will be returned with all verified QSO SASE's received.  Full details will be posted at the NARS web site in early September.
