Special Event Station to Commemorate the 17th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center

This station will commemorate the 17th anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.

We remember the over twenty nine hundred people that lost their lives on that day.

The station will be operational from 0000z September 7, 2018 till 0300z September 12, 2018

28.450, 21.350, 14.265, 7.200 and dstar REF020C.

We will also be up loading to LOTW. If you would like a QSL card, SASE to the club address.

WA2NYC will be on d-star REF020C each evening from 7-11PM Eastern Time ( 2300Z- 0300Z)

 

Nothing heard (other than some vulgar fellas on 7200) on those freqs from 1600Z-1745Z on 08SEP2018. When is this event picking up?

 

Given the rather notorious nature of "that" frequency I'm surprised it was selected for this event.

Nothing heard here either, maybe too close.

 

Luke we were on 7.238 on Fri. night. We will be on 20 today and 40 tonight.
