Hello, The UK licencing authority Ofcom have issued me with a Notice of Variation to operate from England in the International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend (ILLW) next month with the callsign GB5SC. Ofcom now reissue callsigns 2 years or more after they were last used. The callsign GB5SC was last used by a group in Scotland in 2023. The group have an entry in QRZ.COM. How can I get the details of our August 2025 upcoming operation as GB5SC from Scarborough Lighthouse listed in QRZ.COM? 73 and thanks, Phil G4OBK Scarborough ARS

For those who have never tried Scarborough fish and chips, or even an especially delicious monster ice cream from the Harbour Bar, the lighthouse is well over 200 years old, but the tower had to be rebuilt as some naughty Germans sailors shelled it in World War 1.
