It now seems that Terry McNichols has just been convicted by the State of Oklahoma of 161 counts of murder for his part in the Oklahoma City bombing.

In 1998 he was convicted in Federal Court for involuntary manslaughter and conspiracy for the death of eight Federal employees and sentenced to life in prison.

Oklahoma is seeking the death penalty.

Is justice finally served?

Was he a Ham? What's his call sign?
Wouldn't suprise me since many in the 'Patriot Militia' movement are active shortwave radio listeners and often get their ham ticket to stay in touch with like minded groups elsewhere.

Of course you mean Terry Nichols.

I think he is fortunate to be able to go on living just few years more than Timothy McVeigh did.

When I was young ( a long time ago ) I learned two things:

The FBI always gets their man

If you murder someone, you get executed.

Neither is true today.

Bummer.

Justice will be served when Nichols achieves room temperature and settles in for a nice, long, dirt nap.

It's amazing what effect 2500 volts of DC or 225 grains of Pb, or 150 cc of a solution has on eliminating a persons ability to kill, maim, or destroy..

Fascinating!

Nichols is making that sllllloooooowwwwwww deliberate walk towards meeting one of those solutions (no pun intended, sorry JSR!) and removing a small part of the national headache.

Now here's an opportunity to show the world we are fair.

If he gets the death penalty, dip the bullets in pigs blood and shoot him. Then tell the world this is what we do to terrorists!

It is nice to see that his day is finally here.

I still think there are more people involved and we have already killed one of the people who could tell us who they are. Now we ready to fry another one but I think we need to get him to sing before we microwave him.

Chuck, I don't like terrorists even a little bit. While Southern
bred and born, I firmly believe in William T. Sherman's,
Teddy Roosevelt's and George Patton's treatment of terrorists,
home grown or foreign. If terrorists like terror so much, then give them a more than ample serving of their life's love back.
I have a "solution" for all who espouse terror; Drown them all
in pig blood and bury them face down with a shoe stuck firmly
into the only orifice they have that is pointing up.
As for Terry Nichols, his "solution" would be to ride a Nuclear
weapon, Slim Pickens' style, down to any area giving respite
and refuge to terrorists.
By the way, there is a myth going around the internet that
Gen. Pershing had dealt with Philipine terrorists with death
from a firing squad using bullets soaked in pig blood.
I doubt that it is true. Think of what pig blood would do to
the beach of a military weapon! Snopes also says that there
is not much to pin the story on, one way or another.
So, drowning them in pig blood is slower, and gives them time
to sweat their outcome. Something they never seem to do
before killing innocent civilians and standers by.
DOOM, DESPAIR and then DEATH to the terrorists, in that order.
By the way, I live in an area that was overflown by Muhammed Atta while he was taking flight training at the
FBO at the Lawrenceville, Ga., airport! Think about who is
flying over you! [IMG]

You mean they always get a man. They've been wrong before, pretty much ruining a security guard's life in the Olympic Park bombing at the Atlanta games in 1996 and more recently, destroying the reputation of an American attorney by tying him to the Madrid bombings.

They were wrong on both counts.
