Well from what I've been reading, the next solar cycle is going to be as bad as cycle 24, so guess my dx days on 20,17,15,12 and 10 meters are out. the future of AM is looking better and better for us old timers. yep...the low bands are looking more and more attractive.

As a newly licensed operator (2015) - it seems all I have ever known is "poor to marginal" propagation... who knew :) . I thought this was just the way of things. I hope I live long enough to see what "good" propagation is!

Tam, I want to say that you are doing a wonderful job in keeping us informed on everything in the sky above us. You are my "GO TO" person whenever I want to obtain some reliable information about the sun and it's work in progress. 73 BOB N2MDA

I like when the bands are so called DEAD. Not so many pile ups and still making great contacts on 20 with a hundred watts and wires. Talk to Europe every morning!

Received my novice in the later peak of cycle 20, 1967. I may live to see cycle 26 peak hopefully it will be an improvement. Cycle 21 was so good in the late 70's I could listen to baseball on WLW while on duty in England.
