I hope so. Find out later on. I have seen others use copper strips but I did not know what thickness they were using.
But I guess the grids do not take that much current. I think.
Not so much the current as making the inductance of the ground straps as small as possible.

Turns out those copper straps were actually copper clad. So replaced them with copper strips of a thicker diameter. Amp seems easier to tune with those in there. Even 15 and 10 meters
