    Hi Everybody;

    There was a almost M class flare at the sun from earth directed AR2790! This happened at 16:32 UTC, with predicted speeds of up to 800 km/s solar wind. Expected to arrive on Dec.09 after 04:00 UTC. What makes this one special is the double whammy from an earlier CME, which will be merging just as it hits earth. See the image below. The prediction is that it will have a peak solar flux output of 180 SFU

    well I'll be darn..peak solar flux of 180...I kinda wondered why my cell phone was acting up. ayuh..well i was calling cq and a vk answered my call and we chatted for about 12 minutes only to find out my dummy load was switched in. Wonder if that would be a record working Australia from a dummy load?
