I scored a pair of Soft Comm C-20 stereo aviation headphones barely used for $25
I would like to be able to plug into a Kenwood TM 231A. I want the hand mic usable
as well as the mic on the headphones for either/or operation with a foot switch to key for the headphone mic.
    Separate box ?
Any schematic ideas will be very welcome.

I don't have first-hand experience with either the C-20 or the '231A, so a could be wrong.

But looking at the specs on them I don't think they're easily compatible.

The '231A needs a 600-ohm dynamic microphone, but the C-20 has an Electret Condenser mic that requires a drive voltage that's not available from the '231A mic connector.
